Born in 1969, graduated in Architecture at Politecnico of Milan, I found my first firm in 1995. Research is my passion, independent thought is my key point. These are the basis for all my projects. I develop my ideas and works highly considering what surrounds
me, always allowing cultural and interdisciplinary fusion and cross- contamination. For this attraction to dynamic and mutable projects, from the very beginning of my career, I am exploring and specializing in interior and retail design and also in event and exhibition design. Over the years I also deepened the study of lighting design because
I conceive light as an expressive element as well as functional, and it becomes a distinctive component of all my projects. The constant observation of trends is reflected in inserting in each project also “what will be.” New shapes, new materials and innovative concepts are combined with cutting-edge technologies to address each project to modern and futuristic lifestyles.
From 1992 to 1996 I carried out apprenticeship activities at STUDIO KR in Milan. Then, in 1996, with the architects Marek Piotrowski, Stefano Pellin and Giovanni Barni, I became a part of STUDIO KR. Studio KR worked on architecture design, dealing with architectural and urban composition and planning, investigating in particular the development of contemporary trade fair centers.
In 1998 I founded TOMATO DESIGN, a studio specialized in booths design for trade fairs and events, in interior design supported by a strong research for materials and technologies dedicated to these areas.TOMATO DESIGN designs booths and offices for the most important Italian and foreign Internet companies.
In 2001 I founded, with two other partners, GRUPPO C14 whose activities ranged over Retail, Interior and Lighting Design.
In 2013 I founded with Roberto Bagnato STUDIO B612, a multidisciplinary firm specialized in Retail, Interior and Lighting Design. Since 2012 I have been teaching Interior Design at IED – Europeanì Institute of Design in Milan.
